Toby Keith has just returned home after having completed a sellout success ‘Locked and Loaded’ European tour, which included three dates here in Britain.
For the uninitiated Toby is one of the most consistently successful artist in the States and the fourth best selling entertainer in the United States, not only in country music circles but across all musical formats.
According to recent fiqures he is even ahead of Britney Spears, Bruce Springsteen and Madonna.
If this were not proof enough of his success then according to ranking by Forbes (business news and information rankings), he is one of the top earning musicians in the world and has an entertainment empire which extends to major motion pictures and a chain of restaurants.
His latest release entitled ‘Clancy’s Tavern’ is his fifteenth studio album and has already gained him a Number One on the Billbaord Hot Country Songs chart with the single release ‘Made In America’.
It is Toby Keith at his best, both musically and vocally with a great blend of up tempo belters complimented with gentle tender offerings.
Clancy’s Tavern draws its name from the title track, which Keith wrote abbout his grandmothers bar in Forth Smith, Arkansas.
Once again it’s an album that will garner him many more fans and number one successes.
The Deluxe edition also includes four extra tracks that were recorded ‘live’ at a venue in New York City.
