When it comes to sucessfull careers Tim McGraw must be a contender for leading the field of country artists.
Not only clocking up multiple Grammy Awards, Country Music Association Awards, People’s Choice Awards and major film roles he has just completed his eleventh studio album to great acclaim.
Released this week in Britain on the Curb /Rhino Records label ‘Emotional Traffic’ is a twelve track offering which shows McGraw at his vocal best.
The first release from the album ‘Felt Good On My Lips’ has already given him a three week run at the top of the Billboard Hot country songs chart and the follow up ‘Better Than I Used to Be’ is following on chart success with a present Number Twenty placing.
The album also takes in a surprise guest appearance by Ne-Yo on the rhythm and Blues crossover country track called ‘Only Human’ whilst his wife Faith Hill duets with him on ‘One Part,Two Part’.
It’s a mixed bag of goodies with great vocals, instrumentally perfect and a great choice of material.
With over forty four million sales and thirty two chart topping hits, Tim McGraw is ensuring more musical placings at the top with this brilliant release.
Of the album he says, ‘This is my best album ever”, so who am I to disagree with that.
I’ll be playing three tracks on this weekends American Connection Country show on Saturday.
