There’s plenty for everyone on today’s show with an across the board mix of stylings.
Our Take You Back Number One takes us back to 1989 from one of the best selling duo’s in country music history.
Album Of The Week comes from Jack Ingram and I’ll be taking the usual look at the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart and playing todays top selling singles in Nashville.
There’s songs from Nanci Griffith, Ronnie Milsap, Don Williams and new artists Pistol Annies, Claudia Lee, Blue County and Kristen Kelly.
It’ll be good if you can join me for a trip in the country.
Cheers

You got me guessing now as to what his wifes initials are…I hope it’s not Belinda and there’s a B on each cheek…reminds me of a classic joke but we’ll not go there!!
Yes like you I like The Harters sound.
Re Heather…she actually found me through a listener and to be honest her album is knockout…we should know more about her here in Britain and hopefully with a bit of airplay a lot of folk will realise what they’ve been missing.
If ‘happy birthday’ is your guilty pleasure why not record your version on Mp3 and I’ll use that as a jingle instead of the one I’ve got!
I will however need the full orchestra or brass band accompaniment…….

Hi Brian
Enjoyed the show. Thank YOU for being there!
Luke Bryan – “Drunk On You”, I wonder if Luke was when he had his wife’s intials tattoed on the cheeks of his bottom! Honestly its true! I wonder if there is an American Connection fan out there who went for BC instead!
Pistol Annies – Great teack, they open for Miranda Lambert, spshe opens for herself. I think Miranda’s #1 “Over You” is easily the best this year, gorgeous track.
The Harters – New on the block in 2011. I tried to champion that track. It’s as good as what Lady Antebellum have done the last 2 years.
Heather McCready – Very impressed, look forward to more! How did you find her?
Did I tell me my guilty pleasure is singing along “Happy Birthday” your little jingle!
