If you can cast your mind back to the Sixties and relate to an artist who to date has sold over 250 million records then you may have an idea as to who features in our ‘Coulda Been Country’ track on todays show.
‘Remember This’ also takes us back to the Sixties and the days of LP vinyls, and our “Album Of The Week’ features songs from the Sixties sung by a plethora of artists who loved the music of Buddy Holly.
To balance what seems to be a fifty year nostalgia trip there’s a look at the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart along with the Country Countdown when I’ll be giving a spin to the Top Three best selling singles this very day in Nashville.
Our featured artists in ‘Made In Britain’ come from Kingston Upon Hull in the shape of Emma King and the Heartsets.
I’ll also be playing tracks from some of the recent winners in the 43rd CMA Awards held recently in Nashville.
There’s also great music from Luke Bryan, Glen Campbell, Trisha Yearwood, Sarah Pierce, Brad Paisley, Tim McGraw, Patsy Cline, Miranda Lambert and a whole host more.
Here’s hoping you can join me for some of the best country music around.
Cheers

Hi Brian
Quite enjoyed the Sarah Pierce introduction.
“God Gave Me You” is a terrific #1 song by Blake Shelton.
Emma King & The Heartsets – Excellent Made In Britain feature. Their cover of Chalee Tennison’s “I Am Love” is superb and the video was shown on The Phil Mack show. This group rocks and Emma has a super voice.
The CMA’s – Big winners were songwriters, did you pick up on that! That’s the Nashville model now, The Band Perry, Taylor Swift, Lady Antebellum and Sugarland all write their own music. So with fewer CD sales they get to keep the royalties.
