There’s a cracking new album as Album Of The Week on todays show from a living legend of country music.
A complete delight for you if you’re a traditional country music appreciator as it comes from Merle Haggard, and I’ll be playing four tracks from it.
There’s the usual look at the Billboard Hot Country Songs Charts and I’ll be playing todays top three best selling singles.
‘Coulda Been Country’ featured a crossover ‘pop’ band who were once called ‘Brethren’ and our ‘Remember This’ track remind a listener of a country festival in Peterborough.
There’s also songs from Eva Cassidy, Brad Paisley, Trace Adkins, John Prine, Reba McEntire, Sawyer Brown, Alabama, Faron Young, Alan Jackson and a whole host more.
Cheers, I’ll talk to you in a bit…
