On this weeks show I’ll be making the free draw from the American Connection Facebook page to see who the lucky winner is that receives the latest Dierks Bentley album called ‘Up On The Ridge’.
‘Remember This’ features a song that listeners heard on a trip to Nashville in 1969, and our ‘Coulda Been Country’ track features a glam rock artist from Detroit who had a hit with this particular song in 1978.
Our Album Of The Week features a new release from Terri Clark called ‘Roots and Wings’.
As usual there’s a look at the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart and I’ll be playing the top three best selling singles in Nashville today.
There’s also tracks from Southern Pacific, George Strait, the Soggy Bottom Boys, Jerrod Neimann, Faith Hill, Buck Owens, Merle Haggard, Poco, Lyle Lovett and a host of others.
It’ll be great if you can take time out to join me and listen to some of the best music around.
Cheers

Really enjoyed the Terri Clark tracks – Agree, super album !
Chris Young – 4 straight #1 single’s, Great track !
Margaret Durante – Very pop/mainstream rather than country?
Brian – Have you played George McAnthony’s music over the years on your country shows? Probably Italy’s most popular country artist. A sad loss to the world of Country Music to hear of his death. George McAnthony was only 45, the South Tyrolean country musician, died of a heart attack on Friday afternoon on 8 July 2011.
