Kenny Chesney has just released his thirteenth studio album and relates that it is his most emotional record he has ever recorded.
Entitled ‘Welcome To The Fishbowl’, he relates “I’d been through a lot emotionally since the release of ‘Hemingway’s Whisky’ came out and I think that has been reflected in this record”.
“My main goal when I went into the studio was to be honest with my fans and myself as a songwriter and a creative person. I do feel like, more than ever, that I’m comfortable at being authentic, wherever that leads me. That’s why I’m proud of this record, because every song on it has been and evolution”.
From the early days of his first ‘In My Wildest Dreams’ release Chesney has proved to be a formidable force on the country music circuit having sold more than thirty million albums, concert ticket sales of one million every year for the last eight years, twenty one number one singles, none number two singles and thirty nine top ten singles.
This album will add more credibility to his musical status.
Already it has gained him chart success with the single release of ‘Feel Like A Rock Star’ where he duets with fellow country superstar Tim McGraw.
The album contains a brilliant selection of songs of which Chesney has participated in the writing of three of them, vocally he is emotionally charged throughout with an overall eclectic mix of light and shade and musical stylings, from the raunchy title track to the ‘invite’ to ‘Come Over’.
The production is superb, and complimented by great musicianship the album is destined to be one of his biggest sellers.
