On this weeks show I’ll be announcing a winner from our recent competition to see Billie Jo Spears when she plays the Sage Gateshead as part of the ‘Ladies of Country’ tour.
There’s also a winner from our monthly American Connection Facebook page who wins a double CD featuring Darrell Scott.
As usual I’ll be playing the top three singles from the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart and taking a look at the other ups and downs in the chart.
Our ‘Coulda Been Country’ track takes us back to 2008 and features an artist who appeared as Jessica Simpson on a ‘Stars In Their Eyes’ TV show.
There’s also news of artists visiting our shores and tracks from Tammy Wynette, Marty Stuart, Davis Nail, Rex Allen Jnr, Gordon Lightfoot, Vince Gill, Merle Haggard and a host of others.
